conference 9. The Knowledge Center called Strong in Community was held on Thursday 15. November 2020. at the Academia Hotel. The conference was also attended by Ms.. Mirela Buterin envoy of the Vice President
Government and Minister of Croatian Veterans Mr.. Tome Medveda and Mrs.. Milena Suknaić Head of the Programs Department of the City of Zagreb. The emphasis of this year's conference was on the positive impact of veterans 'and victims' associations on the community through various forms of humanitarian work and volunteering, which is often neglected nowadays., undervalued and invisible. Julija Budimir Bekan presented the work of the Association 4.
Guards Brigade, Ljiljana Alvir work of the Association of Families of Detained and Missing Croatian Veterans, and Ivana Klanac the work of the Association of Veterans of Croatian Guards. Valentino Rajković, Ivica Kuprešak as representatives of HVIDRA RH and Željko Jakobčić, representative of the Association of Volunteers and Veterans of the Military Police from the Homeland War, presented the work of civil protection of the City of Zagreb. They stressed that Croatian defenders helped a large number of people who needed help, but it is also emphasized how to pay attention to those people, especially Croatian veterans, which
remained isolated. The actions carried out in the media were not covered, but that was not their goal either, rather, the main goal was to help people in need. Members of the associations underwent special courses for firefighters to be able to help in rescue and rescue operations. Among other things, they participated in the removal of the tower of the Zagreb Cathedral. They have given their obol and will always give it for the citizens of this state. Experts in the field of psychiatry and psychology also participated in the conference. Dr. Spiro Janovic gave a lecture in which he explained what is actually true about Covid-19 , that is, what science says is true. He ended his lecture with a sentence: "Take care of yourself, because if we are not good, what will happen to those who need our help?". Oliver Ojdanić gave a lecture on PTSD in the new normal, and Tina Peraica, prof. social pedagogy and Kristina Stojanović, prof. Psychology with the presentation "Our everyday stress in the age of the new normal" shared with us the results of testing personality traits, a strategy for coping with stress and quality of life during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The project, funded by the HEP in the framework of the contest "Light on the same path", members of Croatian veterans' associations treated for PTSD in Zagreb County and the City of Zagreb in August 2020. participated in the clean-Ambrosia. During April, the leadership of the Community took various actions to prevent the relocation of the Clinic for Psychological Medicine of the University Hospital Center Zagreb.. After the meeting with the management of KBC Zagreb, a press conference was organized with the aim of acquainting the public with the issue of relocating the Clinic.. The Clinic for Psychological Medicine of the University Hospital Center Zagreb has been in the past 20 years has provided and still provides psychiatric and psychological assistance for more than 10 000 Croatian veterans and members of their families, including a large number of our members. Representatives of our community in the past week attended meetings from which it was obvious that the management of KBC Zagreb wants to move the clinic to completely inappropriate premises (Hotel Rebro!) which was opposed by all relevant experts of KBC Zagreb, as well as the vast majority of the staff of the Psychiatric Clinic. Also, Community representatives from the position of health service users informed the Minister of Health and the Minister of Croatian Veterans that we oppose the idea of ​​such relocation. Today we want to emphasize that we believe that all patients whose medical care is endangered (in this case the Clinic for Lung Diseases Jordanovac) they must receive adequate health care, but not to the detriment and harm of particularly vulnerable social groups such as veterans, children and youth. World Health Organization (WEAVE) and international associations dealing with the protection of people with mental health problems say that for the general population the negative effects of COVIDA-19 are equally destructive in terms of mental health., as well as for physical health. Given the fact that one in five of our fellow citizens is currently at risk of developing more severe mental conditions caused by the corona crisis, and for those who are already suffering, those conditions are getting worse, the aspiration of the Management of KBC Zagreb to become a Clinic for Psychological Medicine is completely incomprehensible “relocate” to another location. We say this in the desire to protect our fellow citizens because we do not want them to feel what we went through on our skin when we were “second-order patients”, and when they assured us that “PTSD does not exist” i “that it will all pass”. “Not all wounds are visible” is the slogan of our Community and we hereby APPEAL AGAIN to the line ministers that under the pretext of caring for a group of patients no harm is done to the victims of psychological trauma, how to us, so do the thousands of our fellow citizens who these days call the phones for psychological help and despair in the loneliness of their four walls.

Dana 21. February 2020 in the premises of the Association of Volunteers and Veterans of the Homeland War of Croatia (UDVDR) a meeting was held with the participation of Mr.. Tomo Medved, Minister of Croatian defenders, g. Birger Hansen, chairman of the Standing Committee for European Affairs of the World Veteran Federation, General Djuro Boy President UDVDR, g. Tihomir Trešćec president of the Association of Croatian war veterans treated for PTSD Croatia (ZUHBL PTSP RH). The meeting was attended by Ms.. Mirela Buterin, Head of Department of the Sector for the Association of the Homeland War, control and analysis projects of the Ministry of Croatian Defenders, g. Vladimir Bergman, Sector Head of Administrative and Legal Ministry of Croatian defenders and g. Ivica Turić Secretary General ZUHBL PTSD RH. The theme of the meeting was to organize a meeting of the Standing Committee for European Affairs of the World Veteran Federation and conference on the refugee crisis and migration to be held in Zagreb 4. do 6. June 2020. The. It is particularly emphasized the importance of membership in the World Federation veteran and unique opportunity that it provides organizations to share knowledge and experience in working with veterans. The minister is above all thanked for the invitation and said he was proud of the cooperation that has with associations related to the Homeland War. He pointed out that Croatia is unique among all the States of the European Union as the only member who led a defensive war within its borders and to support the organization of such an event is an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and experiences and to Croatia that has a lot to offer. He also referred to the theme of the conference and pointed out that it is a topical issue that represents a security issue for the whole of Europe. After the meeting we have also met with the President of the World Veteran Federation, g. Dan-Viggo Bergtun an informal meeting.

Dana 15. February 2020. held a regular meeting of the local association ZUHBL PTSD Croatia and in Krizevci and Ogulin. The President and Secretary of the community participated in the meetings.

Dana 9. February organized by the Association of Croatian veterans treated for PTSD Croatia held a protest "Stop the hate speech and mutual intolerance" in Samobor. The aim of the protest was to raise voice against hate speech and mutual insult, regardless of political connotations and worldview of those who suggest such insults. At the protest was attended by around 700 people, and on stage were, among others addressed the crowd Tihomir Trešćec, dr. Herman Vukusic, Joseph Mahović, Rosalie Bartolić , Zeljko Kekić, Zeljko Baca, Anto Kovacevic and others.
